About this book

Language: German

This book presents 350 alpine species of micro-moth – it aims to be a reference work on a species group that has so far been little researched.

The author presents 350 alpine species with information on their habitat and biology. Photos of caterpillar host plants, eggs, caterpillars, pupae and the moths show the amazing variety of colours and shapes of this group of species, previously neglected by research. With these new findings, a knowledge base has been developed for many micro-moths for the first time that will hopefully serve to effectively protect endangered species.
