  • With ecologists and librarians on our team, we’re able to provide expert advice. Plus, our fully trained customer services staff are always on hand to make sure that ordering is as quick and painless as possible.
  • Problems are rare, but when they do occur our friendly staff work hard to make sure that they are resolved with the minimum of inconvenience or fuss.

  • Orders can be placed online, over the phone, or by sending us an email with the items that you wish to purchase.
  • For orders placed by your institution using a purchase order, we can provide 30-day credit terms. Make sure that your purchase order includes billing and delivery addresses and a unique reference number. This will be quoted on your order acknowledgement and invoice.
  • We deliver worldwide and offer a choice of standard or express delivery options.
  • We can invoice in UK Pounds, US Dollars or Euros and have bank accounts in all three currencies to support our customers around the world. Please let us know your currency preference when placing your first order.
  • As well as flexibility in currency, NHBS are happy to accept payment by the method that suits you best, including credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
  • We can provide a quote or proforma invoice for any items you request. We also offer 30-day credit terms when your institution buys from us using a purchase order.
  • NHBS specialises in manufacturing tools for entomology as well as freshwater and marine survey. All of these are produced from high quality materials at our workshop in Devon. Our products are made to an exceptional standard, and are designed to last for many years.
