Since the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020, we have been working hard to maintain business as usual and keep orders flowing to our customers in the European Union. Over the last few months, we have been facing significant issues with delays and disruption to our EU standard tracked shipping service, therefore we took the decision to temporarily suspend this service on June 14, 2022.
Since the suspension we have been testing a new service that addresses the customs clearance delays which had been causing delivery delays. The tests have shown the new approach to be much more reliable, and therefore we are able to resume standard tracking. But, please note that the tracked service is still slower than pre-Brexit and pre-Covid delivery times, with most parcels taking 2-3 weeks to arrive.
While we hope that the tracked service delivery times will shorten, the likelihood is that customs delays and Covid impacts will persist throughout the remainder of 2022, and because of that we urge customers with urgent requirements to select our EU express tracked shipping option.
