About this product

Please note: this software was written and designed before 64-bit operating systems (OS) were introduced. If you are running a 64-bit OS, such as a 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7, this software may not function. Please note that suppliers do not accept returns of sealed software that has been opened, and NHBS can therefore not refund such items. If in doubt, please contact customer services or the software supplier to enquire after compatibility before purchasing this item.

Bryan Beirne's "British Pyralid and Plume Moths" was published in 1952, as part of the Wayside and Woodland series of Frederick Warne. Like others in the Wayside and Woodland series, the original books are rare, and much sought after, putting the work beyond the reach of many.

The book has now been reproduced on a CD in Adobe Acrobat format, for Windows PCs and Macs, with fully searchable text and hyperlinks for ease of navigation. In addition, the plates are available separately on the CD as high-resolution images.
