Originally published by the British Museum (Natural History) in 1979, Lincoln's "British Marine Amphipoda: Gammaridea" is an extremely important text on the Amphipoda, describing and illustrating all 271 British marine and brackish-water gammaridean species known.

    Having used the first edition of this work as a constant source for identifications, during extensive seasonal field research for an MSc in Marine Ecology, this book remains the core source.
