Almost a good book but seriously impaired by several glaring errors. I would have said I know nothing about the Australian butterfly fauna having only spent a month there and never having a guide to the country until now. However, even I noticed that the photos of Graphium aristeus, Protographium lesothenes and Delias argenthona are of other species, two of which I don't think are native. I was also disappointed that several of the descriptions of different butterflies are word for word identical e.g. the three birdwing species, and the Hairstreaks on p. 131 etc. The photos are excellent but I am nervous that there may be many more howling errors that just passed me by. This book was in need of a quality editor before publication. What happened?
