Biography

Chris R. Shepherd and Loretta Ann Shepherd are a husband-and-wife team, working on wildlife conservation issues throughout Southeast Asia. Both strongly believe that an increased appreciation for wildlife is the key to conservation success. Charles M. Francis has been observing and studying mammals in Southeast Asia since 1979, and has written numerous research papers on mammals in the region and several books, including A Field Guide to the Mammals of Borneo and Field Guide to the Mammals of South-East Asia. He is now a research manager with the Canadian Wildlife Service working on both birds and mammals.
