About this book

Language: French with trilingual abstract in English, German, and French

Atlas of the distribution of Pteridophyta (squares of 4 × 4 km). The surface reaches almost 50 000 km2 (224 × 220 km) and covers the whole Lorraine region (departments 54, 55, 57, 88) with the neighbouring territories in France (departments 08, JO, 21, 51, 52, 67, 68, 70 p.p.), in Belgium (Belgian Lorraine and southern part of the Ardennes), in the Great-Duchy of Luxembourg (Gutland) and in Germany (Saarland, Trier country, south part of the Hunsrück, south part of the Rheinpfalz). 3 Are distinctly published on the maps: the author's observations (since 1960), the stations which are considered as extinct, the data collected from old publications, those from recent publications. The text gives ecological and chorological, sometimes morphological, information. For some species or subspecies, the list of the stations is published. There is a list of the sites which are the richest in Pteridophyta and a provisional inventory of the sites which should be protected.
