Media reviews

"The Lost Words is a book of spells that when read aloud will conjure back lost words – those McFarlane noticed have vanished from language, particularly of younger children in the UK. The spells within are captivating and at times whimsical despite the rather serious underlying theme of the book. [...] The Lost Words is a beautiful and educational book with many layers to unfold."
