About this book

Language: Arabic

Omani shepherds say that when the Arabian leopard hunts, he wraps his tail around a tree to anchor himself as he leaps upon his prey. Short-Tail may have a beautiful spotty coat, sharp claws and teeth, he can stalk and he can pounce, but can he perfect this legendary leopard move? Based on a real Arabian leopard from the Arabian Leopard Survey Oman, Julia Gray uses the character of Short-Tail to introduce the concepts of conservation and habitat to a younger audience.
