The Ursus Nova trail camera builds upon the original Ursus to offer an entry-level camera with upgraded 4K video, improved audio quality and new camouflage better suited to British and European habitats. Built for the outdoors, the Ursus Nova features a rugged IP67 casing and impressive battery life; capable of running for 12 months on one set of batteries when taking photos, and up to 3 months for video. The Ursus has a 2.4-inch colour screen with a new easy-to-navigate menu system. Delivering 4K video at 25 frames per second or 32MP images with a fast trigger speed of 0.3s (for photos and 0.8s for video), the Ursus Nova is designed with conservation in mind. Videos are now recorded in .mp4 format, creating smaller, more manageable file sizes than the standard Ursus.
