This wooden bat box by Vivara Pro is an ideal solution for increasing the amount of available bat roosting space on buildings and in urban environments. The box features 2 crevice-type roosting areas that extend the full length of the box. The front crevice has a front-facing ventilation slit which helps circulate air within the box, therefore the resident bats can regulate their temperature more easily. Made from exterior grade plywood with waterproofed seams this box is designed to last in the elements season after season. The two crevices are sprayed with cork to provide a surface for bats to cling to and an insulating layer to help retain heat. The boxes are available in Black or White, the White being preferable in warmer climes to reflect heat and Black in colder temperatures to absorb heat.
