About this book

This geology guide gives details of 15 geological itineraries around the island, based on a series of visits to Iceland organised by the Birkbeck College (University of London). These may be reasonably completed in one day by a group with it own adequate transport. This guide does not include all the sites of geological interest in Iceland, but instead it provides a representative selection of such sites for the interested visitor.
