About this book

Language: Finnish

This guide introduces 240 species, subspecies or groups of species of fungi found in Finland. The introductory chapters deal with the classification, structure, interaction of these fungi with their host plants and their importance in their habitats. The species section consists of genealogy and species descriptions. The fungal habitats and the main host plants are listed. The distribution maps cover Finland, but the overall distribution is also roughly presented. There is a colour photos for each species. The scientific names of mushrooms, in Finnish and, where available, in Swedish, have been compiled into a single directory. In addition, there is a directory of host plants with both scientific and Finnish names. The guide is aimed at naturalists, students and professionals alike.

Summary in Finnish:
Kustakin lajista on värikuva.
