Located in southern Turkey, Kaş is one of the best diving destinations in the Mediterranean, with dive sites that suit all levels of diving experience and offer a big variety of dives with modern wrecks, amphorae and anchors from ancient civilisations, rocky reefs, canyons, large caves and sea-grass meadows. The diverse Mediterranean fauna and flora of Kaş-Kekova Marine Preservation Area are further enriched by "lessepsian" species migrating from the Red Sea. Sea turtles will very often swim with you; even the very scarce Mediterranean monk seals are sometimes present. You will also find here an excellent underwater visibility and temperatures between 19°C (January) and 29°C (August) for diving all year around.
This guide is designed for divers and presented in a binder format for future updates, Murat Draman presents this exceptional dive destination in the eastern Mediterranean with very detailed underwater maps of 21 dive sites, general diving information and dive briefings in 4 languages, along with log-book pages. A total of 429 underwater photographs illustrate these dive sites and 200 identified species of underwater fauna & flora, 41 of them from the Red Sea.
