The NHBS range includes two dredge nets for use in different situations.The Professional ('Naturalists') Dredge frame is made from heavy welded steel with heavy arms that are intended for use on a chain before the rope section. This is the traditional dredge frame and can be used in freshwater, estuarine and marine environments.The Lightweight Dredge Net Frame is again welded construction but made from heavy gauge aluminium. It is much smaller and can be hand thrown on a rope or used for light towing in conjunction with the Lightweight Dredge Towing Arms. A Bottom Sampling Dredge for sediment collection is also available.
