The Official WWF Guide to Endangered Species of North America
A vitally important publication that documents every endangered species found in North America (620 species in total) through to July 1994. The work covers plants, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, mussels, crustaceans, snails, insects and arachnids. Each entry includes a photo and description of the species, habitat data, behaviour patterns, threats, current population and recovery efforts. The WWF Guide is a continuing series and Volume 5 will add newly listed species through to March 1998.
