The Flora del Bajío y de Regiones Adyacentes is a serial publication which documents the ongoing inventory of vascular plants that grow under natural conditions in the Mexican states of Guanajuato, Queretaro and northern Michoacan.
This series represents a cooperative and critical effort coordinated by the Instituto de Ecologia, A.C., with participation of its staff, as well as of other Mexican botanists and of some foreign specialists. The Flora is published in fascicles, which appear in no pre-established order. In general terms, each fascicle encompasses one family.
