Moss Flora of Central America

A work that will comprise four parts on completion at the beginning of the 21st Century. Central America possesses one of the world's richest moss floras, with an estimated 871 species. Previous to this work the only study of moss flora for any Central American country was Bartram's fifty year old Mosses of Guatemala. In this series, all species are fully described and discussed, with distribution in Central America mapped on an individual map. Families and genera are fully described, and all taxa are keyed.
