A joint publication of Golden Gate Audubon Society and Ohlone Audubon Society, the Atlas lists 173 local bird species and provides maps of the precise locations where they have been sighted. More than a hundred Audubon volunteers contributed their field research and sightings. Edited by Bob Richmond, Helen Green and David Rice, the Atlas features thirty beautiful illustrations by Hans Peeters and a color map of the vegetative land cover of Alameda County.
