About this book

Language: English

From the foreword:

"In 1984 the present authors compiled a checklist of Danish marine Mollusca in Danish, intended for Danish biologists working locally on environmental or nature conservation issues. For some years it has been clear that this list needed updating, and in view of recent attempts to establish international databases for the distribution of marine invertebrates, we decided to publish the updated version in English. Also, to make it more useful to international malacologists we have included chapters on the history of Danish marine malacology and on hydrography of the Danish waters."
