About this book

Language: French

The Atlas de la Flore Sauvage de Seine-et-Marne is part of the departmental policy on sensitive natural areas and part of an extensive program to document and value biodiversity in the department of Seine-et-Marne, located in the Île-de-France region, France. It will be followed by three other atlas respectively devoted to wildlife, habitats and ecological continuity, and the consideration of biodiversity in planning. This book, the fruit of several years of inventory is the first dedicated to the flora of the department, whereas previous works often had a regional scope. It is enriched by the many bibliographic entries and all modern data acquired in recent years, leading to a synthesis that is the most representative possible of the flora of Seine-et-Marne. It has been designed to be accessible to all, while maintaining its scientific rigour and character, through an attractive layout, simple language and abundant illustrations.
