This new installment in this series of red data books and atlases that collect current information on the distribution and conservation status of Spanish biodiversity focuses on bryophytes. Following the editorial line of the earlier publications, for each of the taxa described the following is presented: general data, identification, distribution, habitat, population, threats, conservation and proposed measures, red data tab (IUCN criteria that support threat category assigned to the taxon and legal catalogs in which it is included), and chorology. It also includes a distribution map, a list of identified populations and bibliography.

Nueva entrega de la serie de Atlas y Libro Rojos que a escala nacional están recogiendo la información actual sobre la distribución y el estado de conservación de nuestra biodiversidad. Siguiendo la línea editorial de las anteriores publicaciones para cada uno de los taxones representados describe: datos generales, identificación , distribución, hábitat, demografía, amenazas, conservación y medidas propuestas, ficha roja (criterios que IUCN que avalan la categoría de amenaza asignada al taxón y catálogos legales en los que está incluido), corología.

Incluye también un mapa de distribución, una relación de las poblaciones identificadas y bibliografía relacionada.
