Biography

Russ Ferrett is an avid traveller. He visited and explored every site featured in his book Great Cities of the World and he or a member of his family took all but one of its photographs. His travels, along with 40 years of teaching geography and history to children, make him eminently suitable to write a book of this breadth. Russell has also written When The Earth Moves: Earthquakes and Volcanoes in this Young Reed series for young children, as well as Australia's Volcanoes.
