Angus Hogg shows Ken Jackson some of the large number of species, which spend winter and/or summer on and off the shore and in the estuaries, with a special trip to Ailsa Craig included. Among the species heard are; Glaucous Gull, Twite, Redshank, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Goldeneye, Rock Pipit, Grey Plover, Greylag Goose, Fulmar, Snipe, Ringed Plover, Shelduck, Common Sandpiper, Little & Arctic Terns, Cormorant, Peregrine, Gannet, Kittiwake and the five commoner gull species.
