About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish

Birds of Iberá Wetlands (second edition) shows the reader more than 300 species of birds living in Gran Parque lberá, Argentina, a real paradise for ecotourism and wildlife watching. It gives a good sampling of the birds of the littoral provinces, as it is home to a third of all the species living in Argentina. Furthermore, the guide also includes other lberá fauna, animals that surprise those sailing its waters or going around its trails, such as the Marsh Deer and the Maned Wolf. It also reviews the conservation history of lberá, the provincial, national and private efforts for its protection, the alternatives to visiting it and the recent efforts to repopulate it with extinct species, among which none other than the reintroduction of the Jaguar and the Red Macaw.
