About this product

Filmed on four visits, over 170 species are featured, conservation issues highlighted, and taxonomic queries discussed. Following a brief introduction to South Korea, a number of common birds are looked at, then spring and autumn migrants. The last section of the video is made as if following a winter tour - looking in particular at the species and sites that birders on a winter trip would be likely to see and visit. Footage includes close views of, for example, Nordmann's Greenshank, Saunders's Gull, Siberian Rubythroat, Siberian Accentor, plus 14 species of bunting, over 20 species of shorebird, Steller's Sea Eagle, and ducks, geese, swans and cranes.
