This insect-rearing cage from BugDorm consists of a durable aluminium frame which is quickly assembled using the included pole connectors. A mesh tent fits onto this frame to create an enclosed cage, suitable for the rearing and maintenance of insects. The front panel has a large zipped door which can be opened to add or remove plants and feeders. This front panel also has two Ø18cm sleeve openings situated at different heights. These can be used to access the inside of the cage with minimal risk of insect escape. The top and side panels are made from 650μm white knitted nylon which provides excellent ventilation. There is a strip of fabric situated across the ceiling of the cage which is ideal for hanging feeders.
