About this product

This giant-sized version of the Butterfly Garden is ideal for home and classroom and lets you study the fascinating butterfly life cycle. This kit contains all you need to raise ten Painted Lady butterflies (Vanessa cardui L.) and includes a 45cm high collapsible and resusable habitat, a certificate for ten caterpillars, full nutrition, feeding pipette and instructions. A set of life cycle figurines are also included.

Your kit includes a certificate that you redeem online or send back in order to obtain your live caterpillars. Please note that there is an additional £3.99 postage and packaging charge which needs to be paid when you are ready to order your caterpillars. The caterpillars are dispatched from March until mid-September to addresses in Europe only. You can also order refill caterpillars sets when you are ready to start again (sold separately). Please note that the life cycle of the caterpillars takes approximately three to five weeks and a small amount of care will be required during this time.  

Suitable for ages 4 and up.
