About this book

This is the 15th and last installment of the Colour Atlas of Ectomycorrhizae, and the 13th and last installment of the journal Descriptions of Ectomycorrhizae. These publications cease with the present issue after respectively 25 and 16 years.

Since June 2004, an interactive key for determination of ectomycorrhizae is available online (www.deemy.de) which will be still actualised continuously. Therefore the keys in the Colour Atlas of Ectomycorrhizae have not been updated. All ectomycorrhizae similar in selected features can now conveniently be selected by DEEMY: Agerer R. & Rambold G. 2004 - 2011 and onwards [first posted on 2004-06-01]. DEEMY - An Information System for Characterization and Determination of Ectomycorrhizae. www.deemy.de - München, Germany.

The paragraphs "Hitherto delivered plates" (Chronological and alphabetical arrangement), "Literature"^", and "List of Contributors" are actualised as usual. They are included in this delivery and older parts (from 2008) should be replaced by the new ones.

The fifteenth delivery of the Colour Atlas of Ectomycorrhizae contains the following 5 colour plates: "Pinirhiza arachnocrytallina" + Pinus sylvestris plt. 210, "Pinirhiza magnocellulata" + Pinus sylvestris plt. 211, "Pseudotsugaerhiza tomentelloidea" + Pseudotsuga menziesii plt. 212, Russula puellaris + Pseudotsuga menziesii plt. 213, and Xerocomus badius + Pseudotsuga menziesii plt. 214.
