About this product

This Cladding and Eaves Bat Box from Unitura is an attractive and durable way of providing bats with additional roosting opportunities in either a new build or in a retrofit. The roost is made of both a woodcrete entrance stone and an certified sustainable plywood box, with ideally only the entrance stone being exposed to the elements, improving the durability and longevity of the box. The box can be integrated both into soffits and fascias for a discrete finish.

The purpose-designed entrance stone protrudes slightly, making it easier to finish the façade/cladding around the entrance. The angled top of the entrance stone ensures that water does not enter the box if installed horizontally and provides a landing point to grasp if installed vertically. Multiple roosts can be installed to provide increased roosting opportunities.
