A Wildfowl Walkabout - at Slimbridge

An exploration to hear and hear about some of the wildfowl and other birds – in the wild and in the collection – which can be seen and heard on a tour of the Wildfowl walkabout at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge.

The following birds feature in detail on the tour, as well as glimpses in sound of many other species which occupy the numerous pens and other areas included in the Wildfowl Walkabout: Eider duck, Greylag, Red-breasted geese, Andean and James‘ Flamingos, Ne-ne geese, Lesser White-fronted geese, Whistling swans, Trumpeter swans, American wigeon, Canvasback, Chilean flamingos, Teal, Rook, European wigeon, Kingfishers, White-faced Whistling duck, Greater and Lesser flamingos, Black swans, Magpie geese, Coreopsis geese, Ruddy duck, White-headed duck, Bamacle geese, European wigeon, Gadwall, Greenland White-fronted geese, Bar-headed geese, Ruddy shelduck, Mandarin duck, Brent geese, White-fronted geese, Peregrine, and Bewick swans.

Most of these birds can be seen, and heard, at the other Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centres throughout the U.K., as well as by visiting the Trust's headquarters at Slimbridge.
