A thoroughly modern treatment of the herpetofauna of the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. Dot distribution maps and a list of specimen localities are provided for each species, including Lampropeltis alterna and L. mexicana (referring to the small portion of the range of L. leonis that extends into Coahuila). A number of high quality colour photographs are presented for both of these species, although all depict material not from Coahuila.
