About this book

Language: Chinese with English introduction and scientific nomenclature

This comprehensive book is of high scientific and practical value. All marine species recorded from China's Seas in the national and international literature since the 19th century have been incorporated, while effort is made to remove fossil species. The taxonomic arrangement follows the five-kingdom approach figuring Polyplacophora, Bivalvia, Scaphopoda, Gastropoda and Cephalopoda. Although written in Chinese {with an English introduction), the book mainly contains figure plates showing the marine mollusks (e.g. 6 plates figuring 79 species of cones), which can be found in Chinese Seas.
