About this book

Language: Spanish

This book is a complete inventory of the vascular flora of Gúdar and Javalambre, located in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain.. It lists more than 2000 taxa of vascular plants of which 1710 are considered as belonging to the present flora, and over 214 are hybrids. To these figures must be added cultivated plants and others of dubious presence. This paper has its roots in the work of teachers Goday Salvador Rivas and José Borja Carbonell with their 1961 “Estudio sobre la Vegetación y Flórula del Macizo de Gúdar y Javalambre”, where 1200 species were recorded. In the last fifty years there have been more advances in the knowledge of the Iberian flora than since the beginning of modern Botany, and this knowledge is collected in this book.
