Comparing the works of the most famous scholars from the beginning of the eighteenth century to today, the book frames the genus Hydrangea from a historical point of view and aims to bring order to the complex and controversial classification. Complete with over 1000 synonyms, a glossary and a bibliography. The new edition has been enriched with other varieties, curiosities and cultivation tips to get the best results from these colourful bushes.
