The book entitled Plant Diversity in the Himalaya Hotspot Region is an attempt to review the works on flora and vegetation all along the Himalaya Hotspot region and extending to the North-east India. Apart from major categories of the plant kingdom (algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms), fungi and microbial groups like bacteria are also included in the volume.
