The Spypoint Force-20 is an impressive compact trail camera capable of taking 20MP photos with a lightning fast trigger speed of 0.7s and recording 1280 x 720p HD video. It utilises 48 low glow LEDS to illuminate subjects up to a distance of 24m away.
If required this trail camera can also stamp images with the date, time, moon phase and temperature at the time of capture. It has a built-in backlit LCD screen that allows you to configure the trail camera in the field, but not to view the footage captured. Also included in the box is a 16GB SD card and an SD card reader for transferring videos and photographs onto a laptop or computer.
You can also select from a range of modes (detailed below) designed to help you get the best images possible:
The Force-20 is also available as a starter bundle which includes the camera with 16GB SD card, along with 8 x AA Lithium batteries.
Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras. Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).
