About this product

The Spypoint Force-Pro is a high end trail camera that takes 30MP photos with a fast trigger speed of 0.2s and recordings at a 4K resolution. It utilises 54 low glow LEDS to illuminate subjects up to a distance of 24m away. The video quality at 4K is superb however the frame rate is capped at 10fps at this resolution, which can make recordings appear choppy. If smooth recording is essential then the camera can be switch to a lower 1920 x 1080 resolution which enables the camera to record at 30fps. This camera builds on the success of earlier models to provide an all round robust and reliable camera, with a decent trigger speed and an excellent image/video quality.

If required this trail camera can also stamp images with the date, time, moon phase and temperature at the time of capture. It has a built-in screen that allows you to configure the trail camera in the field. This trail camera comes with a 16GB SD card and requires 8 x AA batteries (not included).

You can also select from a range of modes (detailed below) designed to help you get the best images possible:

  •  Multi-shot mode - allows you to capture up to six shots per trigger
  •  Time-lapse mode - take a picture at regular intervals between 30 seconds and 1 hour
  •  Continuous mode - will overwrite the oldest files when the SD card is full

Also available as a starter bundle which includes the Force-Pro camera with SD card, along with 8 x AA Lithium batteries.

Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras.  Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).
