About this book
This Proceedings volume contains the papers that were presented at the Second International Symposium on the Structure and Functioning of Plant Populations held in Wageningen, The Netherlands, in May 1984. It was also the second congress of the International Society of Plant Biologists. This is the second in a series, the aim of which is to bring together existing knowledge of the demography, population genetics and ecophysiology of plants and to stimulate a multidisciplinary approach to the population biology of plants. Special attention has been given in this book to the phenotypic and genotypic variations within and between plant populations.
