Cameras follow the work of the world renowned elephant expert Iain Douglas Hamilton and his Save the Elephants team, accompanying them on their exciting missions across northern Kenya, and telling the stories of individual elephants from helpless infants to rampaging bulls and doting mothers.

Among the many incredible sequences we witness some astonishing elephant behaviour; a mother forced to choose between her herd and her injured calf to save his life, and a herd of elephants appearing to mourn the death of a matriarch.
