In 2001, the People's Trust for Endangered Spieces (PTES) began to focus particular attention on conserving wild mammals and their habitats throughout the British Isles by creating a special fund called Mammals Trust UK (MTUK). Through this fund PTES supports and commissions practical conservation and research and raises awareness by involving people in conserving mammals. PTES works in partnership with other voluntary organisations, wildlife experts, government and industry. This tenth anniversary report reviews the state of Britain's mammals over the last decade.
