These bat nets feature a much smaller 'bag' than the standard mist nets for birds, making it easier to untangle bats. The TB polyester range replace the former CH nylon range. Polyester has less elasticity so it will not sag in humid or wet weather as much as nylon. The TB nets are 75 denier/2 ply which is about the same 'gauge' or 'thickness' as 50 denier/2 ply nylon.

Avinet Mesh Sizes: Please note that Avinet nets use the American system for mesh size classification. The mesh size quoted is half the perimeter of one mesh square, e.g. 38mm refers to a 19 x 19 mm mesh square.
