Donald R. Prothero is Professor of Geology at Occidental College and Lecturer in Geobiology at the California Institute of Technology. He is author or co-author of many books, most recently After the Dinosaurs: The Age of Mammals; Evolution: What the Fossils Say and Why It Matters; Greenhouse of the Dinosaurs; and Catastrophes!
