About this book

Language: Japanese with English summary and bilingual index with Japanese and scientific species names

This second volume covers some of the subfamilies of the Cerambycidae, including part of the Cerambycinae and Lamiinae. A large number of specimens are shown on colour plates and mutations are explained in detail in the text. Upon examining a variety of Japanese longhorn beetles based on a large number of specimens, 33 new subspecies from Japan, one new species and one new subspecies from Korea and two new subspecies from China and Taiwan are described and many reclassifications are suggested.
