Biography
ROY BURDON has been professor emeritus at the University of Strathclyde since 1997. He was chairman of the department of bioscience and biotechnology from 1986-1989. He is a member of the editorial boards of several learned journals including The Biochemical Journal, The Scottish Medical Journal and Biological Sciences Reviews. He is the author of over 200 scientific papers and several books, including Genes and the Environment (Taylor Francis, 1999)
