The second volume of the series contains 9 individual papers dealing with different groups of the families Noctuidae and Nolidae. The papers of the second volume include the descriptions of altogether 149 new species, 3 new subspecies and 1 new genus of Noctuidae and Nolidae illustrated in 53 colour plates in A4 size and 382 genitalia figures. The articles are focused on the Noctuoidea fauna of the Palaearctic and Indo-Australian zoogeographical regions, with special attention to the as yet poorly explored, but amazingly species-rich Nolinae of South-East Asia including the Indonesian Archipelago.
