Revised and expanded second edition.

A practical and compact field guide that fits in your pocket as you explore the Pantanal. This guide features a collection of illustrations of the most easily seen animals and plants, along with some that are much harder to see, but very interesting and worth the effort. Through illustrations and geography diagrams you will understand the functioning of this extraordinary ecosystem. Maps are also included to help you navigate through the Pantanal.

A good pair of binoculars and this guide will allow you to identify many common species. You can use the checkbox at each image to mark the species you have seen and keep track of all your fascinating wildlife sightings. • Surprisingly helpful! And all in a most convenient format.
By Robert 24 Apr 2023 Written for Paperback
I have the first edition of this amazing field guide, and it had proven to be immensely helpful. The present second edition has been a bit expanded, but the basic character is the same. A most convenient and superbly illustrated booklet that covers a wide range of animals and plants of the Pantanal region. One can tell that the species selection was not done in a museum but by an experienced tour guide. Definitely, a must if one plans to visit the area.
