This flora contains 281 species, representing 72% of the liverworts and hornworts cited in Spain and 45% of those cited in Europe and Macaronesia. Flora dels Briòfits dels Països Catalans, Volume 2 contains dichotomous keys for genera and species. For each species, there are differential morphological characteristics, data on ecology, distribution and frequency. The numerous illustrations provided are all original.
