About this book

Language: English

A key is provided to all genera known or likely to occur in Ecuador, and the tribes Anthospermeae and Rubieae are revised. Two genera of the Anthospermeae are recognised, Nertera and Leptostigma, with a single species each. Two genera are recognised in the Rubieae, Sherardia (1 sp.) and Galium (12 spp.). One new combination is made, viz. Nertera granadensis var. tetrasperma (Kunth) L. Anderss. Keys, descriptions, and specimen citations are provided for all taxa, and most of them are illustrated.
